A comfortable home in the heart of the village

Casa Sul Monte is a traditional three-storey Italian home, carefully prepared to give you a comfortable, clean and relaxing base for your stay.

We’ve put time and effort into making it feel like a home rather than a holiday apartment — somewhere you can settle in, cook together, enjoy a coffee on the balcony and take life at a slower pace.

The Kitchen

The brand-new fitted kitchen has everything you need to enjoy meals at home.

You'll find a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, small oven and grill, four-ring gas hob, blender and food processor, together with a full selection of crockery, glasses, cutlery, saucepans and cooking equipment.

And, of course, plenty of traditional Italian moka pots for making coffee the Italian way.

Living & Dining

The lounge has a brand-new corner sofa, giving everyone a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring the mountains or coast.

There is deliberately no television. Instead, we've provided cards and games, with more being added over time. It's a small part of the Casa Sul Monte experience — time to talk, play, read and enjoy being together.

The newly decorated dining area has a table for four which extends to seat up to seven, making it easy to enjoy meals together.

The Bedrooms

Casa Sul Monte has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to seven guests.

Double Bedroom

The comfortable double bedroom has a large wardrobe with plenty of space for clothes and luggage.

A private balcony overlooks the garden and offers views towards the surrounding mountains and Pollino National Park — a lovely place enjoy the views.

Twin Bedroom

The twin bedroom has two single beds and views along the village's main street.

From the window, you can even see down towards the local café and get a feel for what's happening in the village.

There is plenty of wardrobe space and a larger balcony — another perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee while taking in the views.

Single Bedroom

A fourth single bedroom is located on the first floor.

It has a single bed and a large vintage wardrobe, adding to the character of this traditional Italian home.

Bathrooms

There are two clean, fully tiled bathrooms, one on each of the upper floors.

Both bathrooms have good shower pressure, providing a refreshing shower after a day exploring the mountains.

Balconies & Views

One of the pleasures of Casa Sul Monte is the feeling of space as you move through the house.

Windows and balconies look out across the village, garden and surrounding countryside, with views towards the mountains of Pollino National Park.

Each bedroom has a fan for warmer days.

The Garden

The garden is still a work in progress as we continue to improve it, but the large patio area is ready to enjoy.

There is space to sit in the sunshine or retreat underneath the large pergola when you need some shade. With outdoor chairs, it's also a lovely place for an al fresco meal.

Sit with a coffee in the morning, enjoy lunch in the shade or relax outside in the evening while taking in the peaceful views.

Fresh, Comfortable & Ready to Welcome You

We've put a great deal of time, care and investment into making Casa Sul Monte a comfortable and welcoming home for our guests.

The entire house has been professionally redecorated in fresh white, giving the traditional rooms a clean, bright and spacious feel. We've installed a brand-new kitchen and corner sofa, along with new mattresses, bed slats, bedding and towels throughout.

We've deliberately kept the character of the original Italian home while updating the things that matter most for a comfortable stay.

Everything has been prepared with one simple aim: for you to arrive, settle in and feel at home.
